MCR in the studio
In the next few weeks, My Chemical Romance will head into the studio to record their fourth full-length album with producer Brendan O’Brien. He has previously worked with AC/DC, Mastodon, Bruce Springsteen, and Pearl Jam, among others. He’s good.

MCR to headline Summer Sonic in Japan
My Chemical Romance will be headlining both of the Summer Sonic Festival dates in Japan. The first show is on August 7th in Tokyo, and the second is August 8th in Osaka, Japan.

Hi all!

Time for some updates! As you all can see, I've added a few new pages. Two of them are REALLY important in my opinion. The first one is the page "charity". You can find it in the band-section. I think it's really important to show the world that My Chemical Romance supports all those charities. The second one is "My Chemical Romance saves lives", in the fun&facts-section. I think we all need to show the world that MCR really wants to save lives, and this is a way to do that. But you all need to help! Post the quotes and the videos in your blog, e-mail them to your friends, share them with everyone you know! If you have more quotes, please send them to me, and I will add them : ) If MCR saved your live, and you wanna share your story with us, that's possible too! Send your story to me, and I will add it to the site, anonymous if you want that.

Without getting too preachy, i would like to celebrate the re-adding of some videos to our site. It’s no mystery to anybody, that countless record companies and youtube are caught in a gigantic pissing match. Unfortunately, the fans are the ones that are truly suffering from this ordeal. Like many artists on many labels, our videos were removed from youtube. We were 200 percent against this as….. A) we are huge youtube fans! b) we held two records for most viewed music videos. c) youtube is doing what most televised musical programming no longer does,…and thats play videos. If you look at the top of our site, there is a shiny new link for VIDEOS. simply click on it, and enjoy! We love you guys, expect some mammoth updates very very soon.
